Kimchi Fried Rice

Hello Guys today i am going to share one of my favorite Korean food called Kimchi Fried Rice, i want to share this recipe with you because this dish is full of different flavors that will make you eat more.

  1. If you are using day-old rice, break up any clumps and separate the grains.Fresh rice can also be used, but it might be a bit sticky.
  2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium heat and add the vegetable oil.
  3. Add the chopped bacon( if using) to the skillet and cook until crispy.If not using bacon, you can skip this step.
  4. Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté until it becomes translucent.
  5. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant
  6. Add the chopped kimchi to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the kimchi juice,soy sauce,and gochujang.Pour this mixture into the skillet and stir well to coat the ingredients.
  8. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir-fry everything together, ensuring the rice is evenly coated with the sauce.Cook for about 5-6 minutes, until the rice is heated through.
  9. Drizzle sesame oil over the rice and give it a final stir.
  10. Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  11. Serve the Kimchi Fried Rice hot as a main dish or as a side dish alongside with other Korean dishes.
